About The Adapted Word
This site was created by a a speech/language pathologist and church volunteer who started creating resources for the disability ministry at her church.
The Adapted Word exists because of the need to adapt instruction to reach all children with Bible concepts. Our mission is to provide ways to adapt and supplement church curriculum.
Adapting lessons can take time. This website is devoted to supporting Kidmin Leaders who have big hearts and want to teach all children and are short on time.
The Adapted Word is available to all site visitors. Membership includes new lessons delivered to you every month. Members also receive a members-only resource library!
